  With each painting I do I try to experiment with new ideas and techniques. For this one I learned more about mixing colors. The pink originally was more toward the cool side of the color scale and I mixed warmer colors to move it toward the warmer scale. I have made it a goal to use up paints that I'm going to discontinue from my paint supplies. I have a lot of paint colors and as I learn to mix I won't have a need for premixed colors. I use all professional paints for my paintings. So it cost a lot to maintain a wide selection of colors. If I can mix a close match it's pointless to buy what I don't need.

I also experimented with the background, with colors and doing a more watery dripping effect.
